Hello In my Access 2000 database I have Part Number as follows: TRAN0001 TRAN0002 . . . TRAN0022 When I configure my CIS for this database and see Database Parts Window id CIS Explorer these Part Number values are reduced to 0001 0002 . . . 0022 It's annoying as I have several tables and Part Number format of each table take the form: W_10000 W_20000 . . . W_N0000 where W_1, W_2, ..., W_N are sets of caracters and 0000 - four numbers. When I try to update components after linking, it appears that some components are the same Part Numbers. What can I change to correctly transfer Part Numbers in CIS? Thanks. Pavel. P.S. In my database I set format of Part Number to be Text. First I tries with Autonumber, but it seems that this format is incompatible with CIS.

Hello In my design I have 3 schematics. I want to create database from whole design. But when I try to create CIS Bill of materials, it creates only liste from "active" schematic. It there a possibility to create CIS Bill of materials from whole design? Thanks in advance. Pavel.

Hello Cannot put test point on the printboard. I modified one of padstacks adding "Use for test point" option. But when I try to generate new test point, Padstack drop-down list is empty. When I type the name of padstack that marked "Use for test point", message appears Cannot find VIA_Test. Please use the browser. Now I use package SPB15.5. It seems that with SPB15.2 there was no this problem... Is it a bug of soft or I do something incorrect. Thanks in advance. Pavel.

Hello I cannot back annotate from Layout. I swaped in layout 2 gates from 2 different components of the same type. When I try to back annotate, I receive the message: External pin swap (U2.7 and U1.7) not supported. The same message for other 2 pins of gate. So, I can't annotate to capture the gate's swapping from 2 different components??? Thanks in advance. Pavel.
