Senior Digital Design Engineer

 

Main purpose of the job

The Senior Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for the definition of the digital system requirements specification and translates it into a digital system architecture including block level specifications. The Senior Digital Design Engineer is able to guide technically the design team through the implementation, verification and documentation phase of the project life cycle.

 

The professional requirements

A good knowledge of signal processing is required as well as a thorough understanding of the digital design flow. Eagerness to design, implement and verify on block and IC level is a must.

M.S./Ph.D. with more than 4 years of experience as Digital IC Design Engineer followed by a period of at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Digital Design Engineer or Digital IC Architect.

Experienced in setting up digital system and block level specifications and working out a architecture.

Track record of technically leading design teams.

Experience in designing IP and IC designs containing digital filters, DSP cores, peripherals is an advantage

Lateral thinker wit helicopter vision, capable of finding appropriate solutions covering the implications in other disciplines;

Must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, have a passion for excellence and possess great team and partnership skills;

Initiative and entrepreneurial attitude, decisiveness and target driven;

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, esp. in English;
