The non-lethal technology Stop Car and facilities for remote control of the hidden explosives and weapons requires development of compact powerful radiation microwave and TeraHertz sources. TeraHertz sources using nonlinear optical methods are low-power. Conventional backward wave oscillators also cannot provide sufficient radiation power. Volume free electron lasers [1-4] are the new type of generators of radiation providing to overcome the above difficulties of conventional system using nonrelativistic and low-relativistic electron beams for generation microwaves. Backward wave oscillator with a "grid" diffraction grating and the volume FEL with a "grid" volume resonator that is formed by a periodic set of metallic threads inside a rectangular waveguide [5] are described. Recent experimental results for generation microwaves are presented. Frequency tuning in such devices is analyzed. Possibility of development of a compact powerful microwave and TeraHertz sources on the base of the above prototypes is considered along with the possibility of their application to Stop Car devices and remote control of the hidden explosives and weapons.

  12. Наверное так оно и есть. Однако, есть такие авто, которые производятся и вне контроля спецслужб где нибудь в китае и мчатся они на блокпосты где нибудь в афгане. Как так такое авто остановить? Вы, наверное, пересмотрели слишком много американских фильмов про шпионов. Наверное, всех производителей авто спецслужбы обязывают ставить специальный останавливающий чип ?

Существуют ли какие интересные технические решения на основе "RF & Microwave Design", позволяющие остановить быстро (ну, или не очень быстро) едущий\двигающийся автомобиль бесконтактным способом, т.е., без применения разного рода ежов\рогаток или стрельбы по колёсам? Чисто для полицейских\милицейских нужд - для борьбы с нарушителями правил дорожного движения.
  15. Синхронизация подразумевает постоянство разности фаз в течение какого-то времени - время синхронизации. Для того, чтобы сигналы были синхронизованы, они должны быть одинаковой частоты. Если частоты разные, то набег фазы в течении какого-то времени рассинхронизует, в конечном счёте, сигналы. Если разность частот небольшая - то можно говорить о времени синхронизации. Например время, в течении которого разность фаз сохраняется быть меньше, чем например 5%.
